TZ and the Villaggio San Francesco join their forces for homeless people

The “Villaggio San Francesco” in Scarperia (Florence) is a nonreligious congregation which supports movements and associations that aim to mitigate poverty in our society.

They are continuously looking for new partnerships in order to fund and promote their cause. Therefore they used Teezily to raise funds for an initiative linked to the refuge Fr. Jacopa, who hosts homeless people for two nights. The service is entirely managed and financed by the volunteers of the Villaggio and by the congregation. The service is active and will continue to exist due to contributions by generous people.
The volunteers decided to use Teezily because it allows them to sell t-shirts to their supporters while at the same time raising funds to support the refuge:

The most interesting aspect according to Fabio Ceseri, the organizer of the project, is that TZ platform allowed them to launch a campaign without any risk or upfront cost, through an easy and accessible platform.
The fundraising has been successful and Teezily is currently reprinting plenty of t-shirts due to high demand.
